📖 VERSE: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
— FULL ANALYSIS —
[Israel] Phrase: “Go ye therefore,” Note: This command was given by the Lord Jesus Christ to the eleven apostles (Matthew 28:16) and falls within the scope of God’s prophetic program for Israel and the establishment of the earthly kingdom. ‘Ye’ refers specifically to the Jewish apostles, commissioned to take the kingdom message to the world (Matthew 10:5-7). Supporting Scriptures:
- Matthew 15:24: “But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
[Israel] Phrase: “and teach all nations,” Note: Under Israel’s program, the nations (Gentiles) were to be reached through Israel’s witness, preparatory for Christ’s physical reign on earth (Acts 1:8). This commission is part of the prophetic program which was temporarily suspended due to Israel’s rejection.
